I had no idea Blogger had HTML abilities.. but duh

HTML on Blogger?

Of course!

So I had no idea that you could use HTML and CSS on Blogger, but now that I know... Oh boy! I guess I never noticed that HTML button RIGHT BESIDE the Compose button that I use every time I get on here. Anyways, work is going great, as I am learning a lot about web development; that being said, I'm nowhere NEAR good, but time is my our best friend when it comes to learning..

I always thought I would stick strictly to applications programming only (offline Java, C++, etc), but having started with web, I'm addicted! It's so cool to be able to layout a page exactly as you define and add interactivity. Even making a simple link to my music blog is fun to make, haha. I'm the type of person that loves customization and I love trying to figure out all the syntax rules and start from scratch everytime.

Listen to me.. I sound like I need some intimate time outdoors.. I do! I haven't been climbing in over a month and I went a couple of days ago only to hurt my hand. Note to self: if you have not been active for a while, do not assume you can just start back where you were. My hand isn't in any sort of bad condition; I just pulled a muscle in my thumb, but it's kind of annoying when your sedentary passion relies heavily on your ability to type.

Grades came in...

TWO A'S and TWO B's! If you are an A student by nature, don't judge. I'm so happy to have so many great buddies in my department that are always wanting to study. We pulled each other through!

Although my summer has begun, I have a couple summer classes starting the 15th of May; regardless, I'm not letting the sun or bikinis distract me from doing great! .... ok.. maybe bikinis...

Let this summer be nothing but fun and learning! I've got lots of things I need to learn, lots of projects to be completed based on what I learn, and lot's of fun (and bikini watchin') to do!!

It's been a while...

WOW, it's almost as if I just created my blog account today! I haven't been on here in months.. Lots of things have happened in the undocumented months, but all that needs to be said is that life is great again and it's summer.

All my classes went well! I'm so glad to have friends in the same major as mine that are always willing to force each other to study. Without them, there is no way I (and the rest of us) would have done so well on our exams. I'm looking at an A, two B's and another possible B! WOO! I get to relax now... But only for what I know will seem like a moment, as I am taking 6 hours this upcoming summer semester, one online class of the two.

I no longer work at Academy (thank every single religion's god except Steve Jobs). I got hired as an intern for a web developer and I am loving it there; I finally feel like I'm actually doing something worthwhile AND I'm learning!

Until next time...!

People Surprise Me

Correct me if I'm wrong: I'm a nice guy and I try to make everyone happy as much as possible, even if I have to go out of my way to do so. If you've known me for any length in the past few years, you'll definitely agree.

How, then, could people come to be so hateful of me for having made an incredibly difficult relationship decision based on a mental breakdown and gut feeling? It's so funny how people think they just "know" what I am thinking and broadcast it freely because it would be a good way to make themself stand out and possibly, for once, seem interesting.

If you have a problem with yourself, don't use my hardship as a breeding ground for your insistent childish behavior. Please find a way to be interesting on your own. It's starting to make me feel sorry for you.

And if you don't like me, take me off of Facebook, delete my number; I don't need negative influences in my life. Let the positivity begin. God bless 2012 and all who wish to enjoy it to the fullest.

The most wonderful time of the year? ... not

A massive life-changing decision had to be made a couple of days ago; there will be sorrow and there will be good times, yet it had to be done for the sake of the greater good and things just won't be the same. Why can't life have an undo button? A save and reload? Forget trying to make an efficient fuel or keep making computer chips smaller, scientists, and give us something truly important.

During Christmas, people need to remember what it is really about. The presents mean nothing. The decorations are a waste of time. The eggnog is terrible for you anyways.

If that is all you enjoy about Christmas and you are an adult, I don't care to waste my time around you and no one else should.

Cherish the people you love.
Enjoy being with them.
For the sake of our loving God, be grateful and thankful for your life and its comforts.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

I'm always here.

Back in the swing of living

It's been a while since I've had the motivation to write a new post, but ever since school has let out for winter break, my brain has become this relaxed glob of fun-seeking jelly. I've gotten to hang out with alot of my favorite people more than ever and gotten to climb alot (going tomorrow!). So far, my best climbs have been V4's for bouldering and a couple 5.10d's for top-roping, which is better than I've ever been. Woot!

Getting to go bouldering outdoors again probably on Monday, which will be a nice change from the gym (I have become somewhat of a gym-rat as of late). Hopefully we'll get to top-rope during the week too. Everyone's schedules are just so entwined, seeing as how most of us work at the same place :/.

Super excited for Friday!

I hope every single one of you is having an awesome end of the year; Ten days until Christmas. Sixteen until New Years.

Everyone be responsible while "enjoying the holidays" and don't drink and drive; if you hurt someone I love, you'll be looking at far worse punishment than the government is allowed to give.

One More Week!

The week of finals has finally come! I've been so busy and stressed lately that I just haven't cared to write anything on here.

There's two classes that I'm really going to have to buckle down for. One of which (a math class) seemed to do what the previous picture illustrates on EVERY test. I had studied for hours and felt that I knew the material very well; then boom: an exponent in a place where we (as a class) have never seen one (among other surprises).

So That better not happen this go around. All I mean to say is good luck to everyone on their finals and may the partying and fun commence soon after!
