Boulderave tomorrow!

I LOVE CLIMBING! I'm getting a little bit better every time I go. When I first arrived at Urban Rocks Gym, I noticed that I was one of the only people there. Pretty soon, a horde of middle school students arrived, which I later found out was their rock climbing club! (Why didn't I get one of these??) Most of the employees were setting up for Boulderave, an awesome chance for everyone to try out cosmic climbing! Here's the details:

Urban Rocks, La Sportiva and Rock/Creek Team Up for a Night of FREE Cosmic Climbing Benefitting The Trust for Public Land

On Friday, October 7th, from 5pm - midnight, Urban Rocks is happy to announce that we will be hosting our 2nd annual BouldeRave! Get ready to climb in a cosmic explosion of neon lights and holds along with some bumpin’ tunes! Stay harness free on our 14’ boulder wall, or go for the ropes on our 35’ top rope wall with the help of our volunteer belayers. In addition to climbing, get ready for a climbing gear demo, some great raffle prizes (benefitting The Trust for Public Land), pre-registration for the Triple Crown Bouldering Series, an after party featuring Nashville DJ - THIS is Art (going on from 7pm-9pm and 10pm-midnight) and various climbing games and competitions including:

* Sportiva Challenge – (5pm-9pm) Join this beginner friendly race to the top of the auto belays for a chance to win some great prizes!

* Speedster Sprint – (7pm-9pm) For you more seasoned climbers out there, get ready to climb fast and take a big whipper in this speed climbing competition!

* The Crash Pad - Pad Stacking – You know the famous, not so dangerous, balance game. Stack AND stand on as many crash pads as you can!

Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow night, so I may only be able to hit up the tail end of the fun. I urge everyone who can go to do so!! Whether you've never climbed or are an expert, this event is for all!

I'm want to stress that I am not getting paid or any perks to advertise this event (it's free to the public either way!), I just want everyone to take part in this chance to fall in love with climbing and the gym!
